KUCHING – Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus will be holding its Swinburne Chillax sessions, swin.sip.sesh, in Kuching, Kota Samarahan, Sibu, Miri, Sarikei and Bau on 7 and 8 December 2024, offering prospective students and parents the opportunity to explore the Australian university at their own pace.
The swin.sip.sesh in Kuching will be held at Swinburne Sarawak’s campus along Jalan Simpang Tiga from 10am to 4pm on 7 December 2024, while the event in Kota Samarahan will take place from 9.30am to 3pm at Zoro, La Promenade Mall and the Sibu session will be held from 11am to 4pm at T4 Sibu.
The events in Miri, Sarikei and Bau will run from 10am to 4pm on 8 December 2024 at Chagee, Miri Times Square; The Coffee Code, Sarikei; and Potato Story Plus, Bau respectively.

Swinburne Sarawak will be accepting on-the-spot applications at the swin.sip.sesh in Kuching. Eligible students applying for admission at the Kuching event will receive their Letter of Offer on the same day. To facilitate the application process, prospective students should bring along a copy of their Malaysian identification card or certified copy of their passport, as well as academic transcripts and certificates (SPM, STPM, UEC, O-Level, A-Level and so on).
Sarawakian students who meet the eligibility criteria can also enquire and take advantage of the fully-funded English Enhancement Program (EEP), supported by Yayasan Sarawak. This four-week program helps students to enhance their English language skills in preparation for their university journey.
Swinburne Sarawak’s upcoming intake for its foundation programs is on 6 January 2025 while the upcoming intake for its diploma and degree programs is on 3 March 2025.
