Dr. Lee Ted Sian received her B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University Malaysia in 2016. She was a Technology Research Engineer at Daikin Research & Development Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. before she returned to Monash University Malaysia in 2019 to pursue her doctoral studies. In May 2023, she was conferred a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with the thesis entitled “Piezoelectric on Fractals Induced Flow Dynamic: Turbulence Management”. She then worked as a Sessional Academic at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak for one semester, before joining Swinburne Sarawak as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering, Computing, and Science in January 2024.
Her research interests include fluid-structure interaction, insert-induced turbulence, flow control, piezoelectric energy harvesting from fluid flow, machine learning, as well as sustainability engineering.
