Swinburne Sarawak student advanced into Final Round of Deloitte Tax Challenge 2017 (National Level)

KUCHING – An undergraduate student from Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, Nivakan Sritharan, has managed to advance into the final round of the Deloitte Tax Challenge 2017 (National Level).

The competition was held in Kuala Lumpur from 31 October to 1 November 2017. In total, there were 3,214 challengers participating in both team and individual categories that made it through rounds of competitions.

Nivakan was one of the 16 finalists under the individual category who managed to advance into the final round in Kuala Lumpur. 

Presentation skills workshops were designed to guide the finalists on their presentation skills and prepare them to take on the final challenge with style and confidence. 

At the grand final, finalists were required to deliver their best presentation in front of a panel of judges, who evaluated the challengers on various criteria including technical competency, writing skills, presentation skills and English proficiency.
