The talk will feature speakers namely Kelvin Chong Foh Fatt of restaurant and food truck business NOMS On Street; Stella Hon Kar Wen of blockchain and cryptocurrency company Oriver Farm; Andy Hon of food delivery mobile application EzFood Delivery; and Raven Kwok of urban lifestyle café Earthlings.

Chong, one of the co-founders of NOMS On Street, is a Swinburne graduate and holds a degree in civil engineering. Venturing into the food business with almost zero knowledge, he started the business by operating food trucks before establishing one of the preferred restaurants in Kuching.

Chong is a firm believer of self-awareness. Over the years, he has learned to master different skills and knowledge, as well as understand his inner values that have brought him to his present position. His talk will focus on values such as integrity, perseverance and reciprocity.

Kar Wen, who is also the co-founder of Deren Foundation and investment director of FiiiLab, left for China after struggling in her part time study in Singapore at the tender age of 19. It was in China that she came across blockchain and cryptocurrency. In her talk, Kar Wen will touch on her journey of self-discovery and the transition from being a clueless youngster to a director.

Believing that a thousand miles of journey begins with a single step is what drove Hon to quit his 9 to 5 job at an audit firm to kick start a food delivery business. Hon will be sharing with the audience his roller coaster journey in starting up a business completely unrelated to his previous career.
