The aim of this unit is to provide students with the basics of thermodynamics involved in chemical engineering. The unit will emphasise on the first principles of thermodynamics, thermophysics, and thermodynamics of chemical processes.
Students who successfully complete this unit should be able to:
3 hours lectures per week, and 2 hours tutorial per week with 3 laboratory sessions of 3 hours each per semester.
