Lawrence Ting received the Bachelor of Engineering with honours in Electrical in 2002 from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia and the Master of Engineering (Telecommunications) in 2008 from University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is currently a Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Science, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak. Before that, he was a full-time lecturer in few institutions of higher learning in Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya. His research interests include Power System Operation, Control and Protection, Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Grid and Machine Learning.
